If you could physically hold your heart and see how it performs when it’s happy and how it performs after every heartbreak you put it through, clearly seeing the blood drip
- would you have paid more attention to the red flags?
- would you have stayed?
- and would you have continued to call it love even though it wasn’t?
Just because you’ve been through it (neglect, abuse, trauma, heartbreak) before, doesn’t mean you should normalise the toxic pressures you put on your heart. It deserves to feel at peace - CHOOSE to be at peace
